This presentation examines the resources implemented as a result of a survey conducted to assess the curriculum processes at California Baptist University to promote equity and effectiveness.

In 2017 and 2022, a small, private, non-profit university administered a climate assessment to students and employees to measure perspectives on racial and ethnic diversity and evaluate the progress of diversity efforts. Findings reveal that although the campus climate is perceived differently across racial/ethnic groups, racial/ethnic diversity efforts (faculty trainings, curriculum changes, new student initiatives and opportunities for engagement, etc.) have been effective in improving the campus climate.

Among the university teaching fraternity, the average age of Full Professors is 55. Studies show that 30% of adults aged 65 and older have never used the internet, and half don’t have internet access at home
