Mary Mutisya holds a PhD (Tourism & Hospitality); Masters of Science (Tourism & Hospitality) and Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University. She is currently an Assistant Professor and Head of Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the United States International University (USIU-A); further she is a senior researcher with the Women Educational Researchers of Kenya (WERK). She is experienced in Education management having served for 20 years as a trainer and manager in various responsibilities. Mary has worked closely with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Wildlife and Tourism; the Agakhan Foundation, CFBT baseline survey on Girl Education Challenge, DFID, Kenya Institute of Education and Kenya National Examination Council on various assignments. To this assignment, Mary brings in over 20 years of experience of research and consultancy.
