Dr. John Kim is the Associate Director of Institutional Research at Vanguard University. For over ten years, he has led the IR team in supporting data-driven decision making with academic vitality data, student success and achievement data, student/faculty satisfaction surveys, and instructor course evaluations. John Kim teaches statistics courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He received his PhD in Quantitative Psychology and enjoys conducting research projects in addition to his other duties. Dr. Kim’s most recent co-authored publication can be found in the CAIR Report: Institutional Research for the Public Good volume 1 titled “Reliability and validity of instructor course evaluations: Exploring the myths.” He looks forward to continuing to lead the IR office in excellence.
