The Course Equity Portal: A Tool for Individual Faculty to View Their Course Outcomes Through an Equity Lens
Description
Faculty play a critical role in fostering equitable outcomes for their students. In this 3-part session, we report on a new tool for individual faculty that presents data-based insights on students’ course outcomes through a supportive equity lens. It connects these findings to actions that faculty can take and resources that faculty can use. We review the data needed, the methodologies applied, and the development and dissemination process which involved a broad coalition of constituents.
