This presentation explores how multi-campus systems can enhance quality assurance and institutional effectiveness through strategic collaboration. Drawing on successful implementations across a diverse system of institutions, presenters will share practical strategies for resource sharing, evidence coordination, and unified standards interpretation. Participants will gain actionable tools to overcome resource constraints and foster sustainable, system-wide continuous improvement aligned with WSCUC accreditation standards.
Multi-campus systems face unique opportunities and challenges in meeting WSCUC accreditation standards. This session explores how institutions within the same system can strategically leverage collaborative approaches to enhance quality assurance while maintaining individual campus identity and mission focus, directly advancing continuous improvement and institutional effectiveness through strategic coordination.
This presentation will demonstrate practical strategies for sharing assessment resources, coordinating evidence collection, and developing unified interpretations of accreditation standards. The symposium will draw from successful implementations across diverse system that include colleges offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees, a graduate-only institution, school focused on graduate and professional programs, a law school, and a medical school. Participants will engage with real examples of resource sharing that led to measurable improvements in institutional effectiveness outcomes, showcasing how shared insights drive action across system institutions.
The session addresses a critical gap in current practices, while individual institutions often struggle with resource constraints and isolated approaches to quality assurance, system-level coordination remains underutilized despite its potential for significant impact on both efficiency and effectiveness in continuous improvement efforts.
