Ryan Weitzman, Ed.D., is the Director of Institutional Research at California State University, Dominguez Hills. He holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from California State University, Fresno, and a Master’s in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from California State University, Fullerton. Ryan has over 15 years of experience and specializes in leveraging information systems and data curation practices to drive strategic, data-informed decision-making that advances Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) initiatives. He is passionate about using data to illuminate equity gaps and support inclusive student success, ensuring that all students have the resources they need to graduate in a timely manner. His work integrates advanced data management with leadership in DEIJ to transform institutional practices and foster a culture of equity and inclusion across campuses. As a CSU Institutional Research community leader, Ryan is committed to reshaping data practices to challenge systemic inequities and empower university leaders with the metrics they need to implement sustainable, inclusive strategies.
