NJCTL’s on-demand courses and programs are fully asynchronous. Students can sign up for a course at any time, study when they like, and proceed at their own pace, eliminating barriers due to location or time conflicts; everyone can participate. 

NJCTL will share its innovative approach to creating student-centered learning opportunities to meet the needs of graduate-level professionals without sacrificing program quality.

The presentation will include a detailed overview of SCU’s self-assessment against the standards of becoming a whole health university, illuminating for attendees how they could pursue a similar evaluation at their own university. Recommendations for how to move from the self-evaluation to an action plan will be discussed in detail. Attendees will receive a printed pdf detailing the standards for becoming a Whole Health University to use as a reference on their own campuses.

UCLA’s Transfer Alliance Program (TAP) has emerged as a critical resource for transfer students navigating their academic journeys. This presentation will explore innovative strategies to encourage TAP-certified applicants to consider diverse academic pathways when applying for transfer to UCLA. By leveraging strategic communication strategies and multimedia resources, including a dedicated website and short, engaging videos, we aim to inform prospective transfer students about the benefits of selecting majors on the admission application that align with their career aspirations, rather than focusing only on competitive majors such as Political Science.
