Rita Sedani Pesartic, Ed.D., MBA, M.Ed. is an accomplished higher education leader serving as Director of Institutional Research at West Coast University. In this role, she oversees institutional research, data analysis, research grants, and surveys, providing actionable insights that drive continuous improvement and student success.
With over 20 years of experience in education, spanning institutional research, academic administration, faculty development, and teaching, Rita is known for building data capacity and analysis with a deep understanding of teaching and learning to support evidence-based decision making. She collaborates with university leadership on strategic planning and is an active member of various university committees. 
Previously, Rita served as Dean and Program Director of Online Academics, leading online general education programs, faculty management, and retention initiatives. She has also taught college mathematics and statistics for two decades at multiple institutions, online, blended, and traditional, and has mentored faculty in instructional excellence.
Rita holds a Doctorate in Higher and Post-Secondary Education, EdD, a Master of Business Administration, MBA, a Master of Secondary Math Education, MEd, and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Math Education, BA.
