Many academic programs require specialized accreditations. Each accreditor has its own requirements for documenting and presenting evidence. Ensuring our programs remain compliant can be time-consuming and isolating, placing a heavy burden on schools and IR departments. Concordia University shares its “recipe” for collaboration between schools and the Office of Business Intelligence, coordinating assessment activities, sharing resources, sharing cycle calendars, and repurposing evidence and assessments for multiple accreditors. Designed to spark ideas for collaboration.

Institutional identity statements (mission, vision, and values) generally articulate core principles that are difficult to translate into effective academic and operational practice. To have full institutional value, these identity statements must be intentionally embedded in every aspect of the institution’s culture, strategies, curricula, and operational processes. This presentation explores how one university has navigated this process and provides a useful framework and process documents to help institutions address such needs.
