Name
Get It WRITE: Equitable Assignment Design for Writing and Research
Description
How can we enhance student proficiency in writing and information literacy across the disciplines? We ask students to write research papers, policy analyses, technical briefs and more, but students often do not understand the norms of the discipline, including argumentative structures and expected use of evidence. A cross-unit team of faculty, librarians, and assessment specialists present the WRITE Tool to support faculty in equitable and effective assignment design and instruction across the disciplines.
