Engaging Students with Media and Collaborative Teaching
Description

Studies have shown that using active learning strategies such as media enhances student engagement. Additionally, collaborative teaching enhances student learning and reduces faculty burnout, and promotes professional development. Many faculty struggle to incorporate active learning into the classroom. This presentation will address this by describing a faculty collaboration in which media was utilized to enhance engagement and learning. With the help of the Innovation Lab, a video interview was conducted to teach relevant content.
