Kelli Amirnovin, MSN, RN, Instructor, Ontario
Kelli Amirnovin teaches Developing Family and Community at West Coast University in the Ontario campus's Bachelor of Science Nursing Program. She has taught both online and on-ground courses. As a nurse educator, Kelli believes that it is her responsibility to develop a trusting and respectful relationship with her students, motivate them to reach their full potential, and facilitate learning and skill development. After spending over a decade working at the bedside of hospitalized and critically ill children as well as teaching nursing students and new nurses in the clinical setting, Kelli knows what it takes to provide excellent care to pediatric patients and to facilitate the learning of undergraduate nursing students by using a variety of teaching methodologies.
Kelli holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Science degree in Nursing Education. Additionally, she has maintained certification as a Critical Care Nurse-Pediatric (CCRN). Kelli is a lifelong learner who believes it is essential to learn new things and grow professionally and personally. She seeks ways to improve her role as an instructor and faculty member at West Coast University. When she is not facilitating learning for her students, Kelli enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
