Dr. Laila Jai Jallo is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona), where she has served since 2012. She is currently in her second term as Chair of the Chemical and Materials Engineering Department. Dr. Jallo is actively engaged in assessment efforts at the program, department, and college levels. Her research focuses on process and product design within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
