Amy currently serves as Assistant Provost for Strategy at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. In her more than 20 years at SMU she has served in a variety of roles in the Student & Academic Affairs Division including Manager of Academic Program Development and Special Projects Coordinator. Amy earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mills College and her master’s in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. Her professional interests include state authorization & professional licensure compliance, interprofessional practice & education, and health professions education. Amy is a member of Cohort 15 of the WSCUC Accreditation Leadership Academy (ALA).
