Maryam Abhari is a licensed architect and full-time faculty member at the Design Institute of San Diego. With over 10 years of experience as an architect, interior designer, project manager, and educator, she teaches courses in architecture, interior design, and information systems, integrating design, technology, and business. Her research focuses on smart building design, ambient intelligence in the built environment, and experiential design. She earned her doctorate in architecture from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and holds bachelor’s degrees in computer software engineering and interior design.
