Dr. Greg White retired in March 2026 from Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) after over 32 years of service.  His various roles at NDNU include service as: Full-time faculty member in Mathematics and Chair of the Math and Computer Science department (1993-2000); Director of Institutional Research (2000-2007); Assistant and then Associate Provost (2001-2018), including interim roles as Dean of Arts and Sciences (2006-2008), Interim Provost (2009), and Dean of the School of Business and Management (2018-2021); Vice President for Academic Affairs (2018-2022); and Provost and Senior Vice President (2022-2026).  Dr. White served as Accreditation Liaison Officer (2013-2024), leading NDNU through multiple accreditation visits. He was primary author on several successful foundation and federal grants, bringing over $8 million to NDNU.  Dr. White has served as Chair of the California Mathematics Project Advisory Board since 2005 and Chair of the Redwood Symphony Board of Directors since 2015.  He earned his BA in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Rochester and his MA and PhD in Mathematics from UCLA.  When not working, Dr. White may be found enjoying time with family and friends, playing French horn, hitting a golf ball, solving puzzles, or reading a good book.
