Dr. Tracy Poon Tambascia is the Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs at Whittier College. Working closely with faculty and Academic Affairs leadership, Tracy oversees the academic program, including long-term curricular planning, support for faculty excellence, and the continued development of undergraduate and graduate education. 
 
Tracy also maintains a faculty appointment in the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California, where she is the Veronica and David Hagen Chair in Women’s Leadership and Professor of Higher Education with Distinction. Her areas of research include international higher education, higher education policy, student affairs, and student access and success in higher education. 
 
Tracy serves as Chair of the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). She is a former President of the USC Academic Senate and served on the Board of Directors for NASPA.
