Accreditation Liaison Officers (ALOs) play a critical and at-times challenging role in ensuring effective engagement with WSCUC standards, policies, and processes. Increasingly, ALOs are interacting with WSCUC and campus colleagues outside traditional reporting and reaffirmation cycles.
The 2026 ALO Forum will open with key updates from WSCUC leadership on recent policy developments, emerging priorities, and expectations for evidence and outcomes. The session will also highlight the expanding communication role of ALOs and the value of proactive, transparent outreach.
The Forum will review insights from the fall 2025 review cycle and engage participants in applying them to strengthen self-studies and institutional reports under the 2023 Standards, including CFR 2.11 and effective use of postgraduate outcomes data.
New ALOs are encouraged to attend both the New ALO Orientation and ALO Forum. All ALOs are strongly encouraged to attend the Friday WSCUC Town Hall for further discussion of WSCUC strategic priorities and initiatives affecting our institutions.
The ALO Forum includes lunch.
