At San José State University, General Education is assessed as a program within a well-established culture of program-level assessment. By integrating Canvas-based outcomes with Nuventive, SJSU has strengthened the consistency, transparency, and usability of General Education assessment data. This session will share how SJSU is leveraging this integrated approach to enhance faculty engagement, streamline evidence collection, and align General Education program assessment with academic planning and broader institutional effectiveness efforts. Presenters will discuss implementation strategies, governance considerations, and lessons learned from embedding system integration within existing assessment structures to support continuous improvement and accreditation readiness.
