Presentation 1 Description

The CORE, Connect, Observe, Reflect, Empower, program at Westcliff University pairs rigorous annual evaluations with supportive peer mentoring to strengthen teaching at scale. Team Leads provide fair, competency-based reviews for part-time faculty, while Peer Mentors guide colleagues through an 8-week mentorship cadence. Together, they create clear expectations, faster feedback, stronger faculty community, and better student experiences. This session shares the design story, lessons learned, and ready-to-use tools with an implementation plan others can adapt.
