Mashiko Lortkipanidze is a student at Minerva University Majoring in Computational and Mathematical Modeling and minoring in Economics. She has a passion for leveraging technology to benefit her community. A top graduate of the G. Zaldastanishvili American Academy, she discovered her love for robotics in high school and became part of the Georgian National Team at the First Global Challenge, creating a pollutant-collecting robot that competed against 189 countries.
Her experiences include collaborating with PEARS Lab in Taipei to develop wearable PV systems, like a bag that can charge a phone with solar energy, engineering an interactive museum installation, working with Universidad Abierta Interamericana in Buenos Aires to design affordable educational robots for Argentinian schools, and interning at BMW’s robotics innovation department in Munich to integrate autonomous robots in factory logistics. She also co-founded a student organization AI Consensus and has led global events and hackathons to advance responsible use of AI in higher education.
