Bio
I worked at the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (IRE), Western University of Health Sciences (WesternU), as an Assessment Coordinator (July 2014-July 2019). My primary role was overseeing and monitoring WesternU academic program review and co-curricular program review processes. Collaborating with faculty and staff, my supervisor and I refined the WesternU academic program review process and developed the guidelines. I also supported assessment activities by developing and administering surveys utilizing Qualtrics.
I worked as an Institutional Effectiveness Analyst (August 2019-July 2024) at IRE. In addition to overseeing and monitoring WesternU academic program review and co-curricular program review processes, I have been serving as a self-study committee member for research programs, providing kick-off meetings for the committee members to get familiar with the program review process, and assisting with data collection, site-visit scheduling, and action planning. I have also been assisting with internal review processes for professionally accredited programs, engaging in tasks such as action planning. I have been working to refine the review process for co-curricular learning activities by developing an evaluation tool to provide annual feedback on the quality and viability of each co-curricular learning activity at WesternU. In addition, I assisted in WSCUC accreditation efforts as a WSCUC Steering Committee member.
I currently work as an Interim Associate Vice Provost for IRE (July 2024 - current). I am overseeing the IRE activities, such as internal and external reporting, survey and focus group data collection, and institutional and programs' accreditation support. I have assisted in WSCUC accreditation efforts as a WSCUC Steering Committee chair.
