Dr. Tara Signs is an Associate Professor in the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) Program at National University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Dr. Signs teaches foundational, core, and clinical courses while also serving as a faculty mentor, offering guidance to part-time faculty and their students. In addition to her teaching and supervision responsibilities, her research explores the critical connections between family relationships and health, with a focus on evidence-based care. Her work has been published in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals and presented at state and national conferences. Through her dedication to research, mentoring, and fostering a supportive learning environment, Dr. Signs aims to equip students with the skills and confidence necessary to excel professionally and make meaningful contributions to the field of marriage and family therapy.
