Laurie Bedford, Ph.D., advocates for lifelong learning and continuing education. Throughout Dr. Bedford’s career, she has held various positions in higher education, professional development and training, and as an instructional architect. Dr. Bedford earned a doctorate in adult education from the University of Wyoming and a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Administrative Studies degrees from the University of South Dakota. Dr. Bedford’s research interests include online education, faculty support, and access to higher education for underserved populations. Dr. Bedford engages in various service projects supporting historic preservation, providing educational services for new Americans, and facilitating outdoor education. Dr. Bedford lives in Colorado.  She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and dabbling in the fiber arts.
