The Apprenticeship Degree has arrived in the US and is growing. Apprenticeship Degrees are quality degrees or credentials through accredited post-secondary institutions in partnership with employers in an apprenticeship that disrupts traditional classroom models by ensuring the degree is radically Affordable, is Based in the workplace from day 1, and offers Credit for on the job learning (ABC's of Apprenticeship Degrees). This session will highlight the why, what, and how of Apprenticeship Degrees and will provide specific examples from across the US in fields such as Teaching, Healthcare, and Behavioral Health that allows more entry level workers embark on apprenticeship pathways to family sustaining wages and allows employers to solve systemic skill shortages.
