Dr. Lorri Santamaria has over two decades of national and international experience in teaching, research, service, and executive leadership impacting higher education and the indigenous non-profit sector.  At California Lutheran University, a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), she is the owner for several diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and is entrusted with the strategic planning, management, and execution of comprehensive faculty and professional development programs. Her service-oriented executive leadership encompasses overseeing the entire lifecycle of university-wide faculty and professional development initiatives. This multifaceted role involves collaborative strategic vision and leadership, as she collaborates with colleagues to continually innovate and redefine how we operationalize DEI standards and frameworks.
