Dr. Christopher J. Claüs is Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication Studies at California State University, Stanislaus. His research agenda is within the realm of Instructional Communication which led to his interest in university-wide assessment. After serving on Faculty Learning Communities about assessment, he was offered the position of Principal Writer for WSCUC reports and has served in this capacity for the past 7 years.
