Mallory Dwinal-Palisch has dedicated her career to innovative educational model; she currently serves as the Chancellor of Reach University and the CEO of the Craft Education System. She began as a Spanish teacher with Teach for America and, later, co-founded and led the Oxford Day Academy (ODA), a public charter school in the San Francisco Bay Area. ODA has adapted and codified the Oxford tutorial pedagogy for K12 students from all learning backgrounds. From there, she co-founded the Oxford Teachers Academy (OTA), a Bachelor's Degree program that scales the learnings of ODA by training the next generation of classroom teachers-- particularly from remote rural areas-- in ODA's modified tutorial pedagogy. OTA is now a part of Reach University, and has expanded to develop the next generation of teachers in urban and rural communities alike through apprenticeship pathways. Craft is the data layer that powers Reach's apprenticeship-based teaching degrees.
Mallory graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Economics, Spanish, and International Studies; additionally, she holds a Ph.D. in Education from Oxford University (dissertation focus: rural teacher shortages), which she attended as a U.S. Rhodes Scholar, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
