Dr. Guidry is the chair of the ABET-accredited Global Environmental Science (GES) BS program in the Dept. of Oceanography at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. His research focuses on program- and student-level assessment with special emphasis on issues involving undergraduate research and diversity due to the GES program's (1) faculty-mentored thesis and oral presentation of research results requirements, and (2) relatively high percentage of underrepresented groups for a undergraduate geoscience program.
