Crandon Gustafson is the Director of Graduate Programs at the Design Institute of San Diego. With twenty years of experience as an educational administrator, he has shaped and led graduate and undergraduate curricula in design, architecture, and professional management. His academic leadership includes senior roles as Department Chair, Dean, and Program Director.
Crandon brings a practitioner's perspective to education, leveraging 25 years of professional experience in large capital project management and design. He is a licensed architect, NCIDQ-certified interior designer, and a LEED Accredited Professional. His work as a project manager has received multiple recognitions from the American Institute of Architects.
Crandon holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Colorado, Denver, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay.
