Crandon Gustafson is an educator, licensed architect, NCIDQ-certified interior designer, and LEED Accredited Professional, with more than 25 years of experience designing projects for healthcare, education, hospitality, themed entertainment, and retail/mixed-use developments. His work as a project manager has won awards and recognition from the Chicago and Denver Chapters of the American Institute of Architects, and the distinguished Richard Driehaus Award for Architectural Excellence in Community Design. Crandon has specialized in design for education with commercial architectural and interior design firms including Gensler, Perkins+Will, OWP/P (now Cannon Design), and VOA (now Stantec). He is a past President of the Illinois Chapter of the International Interior Design Association and former dean of the School of Interior Architecture at Boston Architectural College. Crandon holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Colorado, Denver, and a Bachelor of Science in Community Sciences from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay.
