For over 20 years, Dr. Gee Sigman has worked in higher education as an administrator, faculty and staff member in Academic Affairs and Student Affairs throughout South Carolina. Before joining the UAGC team, Dr. Gee served as an Associate Vice President for Institutional Planning, Research and Assessment. Her work in accreditation, assessment, strategic planning, and institutional research supported the college's commitment to student success. Dr. Gee also served as an adjunct faculty member in both the undergraduate and graduate studies programs: Social Sciences and Religion.
Dr. Gee believes the support of a mentor was instrumental to her success in earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree, a Master of Criminal Justice degree, and a Doctor of Education degree from the University of South Carolina. She has earned additional graduate degrees from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary and Emory University Candler School of Theology.
