Kimberly Cook has worked full-time in the Center for Wellness and Health Promotion at Vanguard University since 2019. Kimberly received her BA in Evolution, Ecology, and Biodiversity from UC Davis; her BS in Nursing from CSU Bakersfield; and her MSN-FNP from CSU Bakersfield. Kimberly is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to coming to Vanguard University, Kimberly had practiced for over 10 years as a clinical Nurse Practitioner, Public Health Nurse, and Registered Nurse in various types of medical practices throughout Southern California. Kimberly has a special interest in health promotion and education, disease prevention, community health, and underserved populations.
