The workshop focuses on a novel approach to assessing a Quantitative Literacy institutional learning outcome through student writing across the curriculum. The assessment team tested whether undergraduate students can think quantitatively and use data appropriately in every discipline regardless of their chosen major. The presenters will share their assessment design, tools, results, intervention strategies, and initiate a wider discussion about effective and innovative methods of assessing Quantitative Literacy outcomes.
