Lynn Priddy, PhD, is President and CEO of Claremont Lincoln University (CLU), an institution committed to socially conscious education and ethical leadership for positive environmental, economic, and social change. Across her 35+ years in higher education, Dr. Priddy has served diverse colleges and universities as provost and chief academic officer, strategic advisor to the president, vice president of institutional effectiveness and planning, dean, director of research and evaluation, and faculty. From 1999-2013, she served in multiple positions, including vice president of accreditation services, at the Higher Learning Commission, sister accrediting agency to WSCUC. During her tenure, she oversaw the 1,600-member peer review corps; the substantive change, eligibility, and decision-making systems; and education and training for the +1,000 member colleges and universities. Dr. Priddy co-led the creation of new accrediting processes for community and tribal colleges, as well as other non-traditional institutions, and was the founding director and creator of the Commission’s Academies on Assessment of Student Learning and Student Persistence and Completion.

Dr. Priddy currently serves on the boards for the American University of Bahrain, the Society for College and University Planning, the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, for which she is co-chair of the Women’s Policy Council and Women’s Leadership Program. Known as a passionate change leader, she is a frequent speaker and large-group facilitator on education at the edge of possibility, new models of  accountability and accreditation, and the future of workforce learning. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the State University of New York, the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and Capella University, where she received her PhD in Higher Education Research and Evaluation with a dissertation focus on large-scale collaboration and dialogue for significant institutional change.
