Dr. Michele Dunbar is the Integrated Assessment and Accreditation Specialist in Academic Affairs at California State University, Dominguez Hills. She leads a cross-divisional effort to conduct an integrated assessment of the First-Year Experience, which encompasses both curricular and co-curricular programs. In this work, she collaborates with the Director of Student Affairs Assessment and partners with many program leads across the institution. In her accreditation work, she served as the primary editor of CSUDH’s Interim Report, was a member of the reaffirmation of accreditation steering committee and co-lead of a chapter writing team at her previous institution, and she completed WSCUC’s 2022-23 Accreditation Leadership Academy. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Southern California.
