Danielle Sassman joined American Jewish University in 2020 and leads in the development, implementation, and monitoring of institutional research, assessment and evaluation, and data analysis and reporting for continuous improvement across the University for institutional effectiveness, accreditation, and regulatory mandates. 
Sassman’s work often explores the intersection of data-driven decision-making and educational technology, with topics such as using design thinking to guide program initiatives and adapting to challenges in the post-pandemic era. Her publications, including a feature in the Jewish Journal on student retention, highlight her expertise in shaping the future of higher education. As a recognized thought leader, Sassman continues to shape and inspire the educational landscape through her dynamic presentations and writing. 
Sassman is a distinguished professional with a strong presence in higher education and organizational leadership. She has presented at numerous national and regional conferences, including the 2025 CLN Learning Conference, WSCUC ARC 2023 and 2022 Conferences, and the AJU Scholar Symposium. She holds memberships in prominent associations such as the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), among others. Recognized for her visionary contributions, Sassman was named a 2020-2021 Top 100 Visionary in Education by the Global Forum for Education and Learning, and she is a 2017 Forbes Under 30 Scholar. Sassman is also a 2024 Momentum Fellow and part of the 2025 Cohort 10 of Higher Education Innovation's The President as Entrepreneur and Administrators as Entrepreneurs Workshop.
