Cherry McCabe serves as Associate Provost for Curriculum and Instruction at Biola University in Los Angeles, California. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Masters in Education, and Juris Doctorate in Law. She transitioned into higher education in 2010 after a legal practice in civil litigation and administrative law. As a full time faculty member, she has held many roles including associate professor, department chair, pre-law advisor, and faculty senate president. Research interests include teaching and learning strategies in gateway general education courses, education policy, and the relationship between political socialization and the rule of law.

In her current role, she promotes the value of liberal arts education through oversight of the undergraduate curriculum, support of faculty and staff, and facilitation of continuous improvement through assessment and beyond.
