Karen McClendon, PhD
Karen McClendon is foremost an equity- and learner-focused educator. She has served many years as a university administrator, ALO, and Vice President in the areas of IR, Assessment, and Institutional Effectiveness/Quality Improvement; before that, she was a faculty member, an assessment director, curriculum specialist, and department chair. Karen now provides consultation to universities who seek initial WSCUC accreditation and reaffirmation of accreditation and has guided multiple institutions successfully through these processes. She also works with institutions that wish to add new distance learning programs through the substantive change process and those that wish to build and incorporate best practices in institutional and educational effectiveness.
