Amy is an assessment consultant and was previously the Director of Office of Academic Program Assessment for nearly 10 years. She has accumulated advanced knowledge, extensive experience, and deep insights for conducting effective social research, evaluation, assessment (at the course, program, and university levels), program review, and WASC accreditation. As the chair and professor of sociology with passion and expertise in data and social justice, Amy strongly advocates that higher education should utilize data and new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reduce achievement gaps and better help our students learn and succeed during university and after graduation. Amy has served as a mentor to department chairs, program directors, college deans and other senior leaders on our campus, in the US and abroad.
