This is Andrea Funk's 25th year in higher education. She served as the Associate Dean for Lawyering Skills and Institutional Assessment at Whittier Law School for 21 years, and she is in her fifth year as the Associate Dean for Online and Hybrid Learning at The Colleges of Law. She just completed building the first accredited hybrid J.D. program in California from the ground up.

Dean Funk’s passion is assessment in higher education generally and legal education specifically. Since 2010, she has focused her energies on the rapidly developing area of law school assessment. She has shared her experience with the legal community through her publications, presentations, and service on both national and institutional committees. Dean Funk is also the author of the book The Art of Assessment.
