Lara Al-Jaser is an undergrad Sociology major in her senior year, and research assistant at California State University, Stanislaus. After graduating she would like to pursue graduate
school with a research focus on sexual health, reproductive rights, and consent. She is interested in the field of Sociology because she wants to learn how socialization and the institutions around us affect individuals actions and consciousness. Al-Jaser previously worked as a Resident Assistant at her University. She is currently an intern with the Smoke and Vape Free Scholars Initiative, and she is volunteering for Haven and Jessica’s House.
