Dr. Stacey Bosick is serving as Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Sonoma State University. She previously served as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Undergraduate and Graduate Education, having been part of the university’s academic leadership since 2019.
A California native, Dr. Bosick earned her B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard University. Before her administrative career, she was a professor of sociology for more than a decade at the University of Colorado Denver, where she also served as Director of Graduate Studies.
Dr. Bosick’s research on crime, inequality, and the life course has been recognized by the American Society of Criminology, the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, and the American Sociological Association.
