As tghe Senior Program Manager for Public Interest Technology University Network,  Brenda leads PIT-UN grants and special projects that fosters collaboration between universities, colleges and industry to build public interest technology workforce capacity and nurture a new generation of civic-minded technologists. She actively recruits faculty into opportunities that advance ethics in tech for government and non-governmental entities.  She is dedicated to building the nascent field of public interest technology through grant making for curriculum development, faculty research opportunities, and experiential learning programs, in order to inspire a new generation of civic-minded technologists and policy leaders.
