Elisa Trimboli serves as Director of Academic Excellence and Strategic Engagement in the Office of the Provost at California State University, Sacramento, where she leads institutional accreditation, academic planning, assessment, and strategic engagement initiatives that advance the university’s strategic academic priorities. She also serves as the WSCUC Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO). In addition, Elisa oversees the Community Engagement Center and serves as Sacramento State’s Civic and Voter Empowerment Coordinator (CVEC) under California’s Student Civic and Voter Empowerment Act (AB 963)

Previously, she was the Anchor University Partnership Manager, advancing the university’s community-engaged initiatives by strengthening campus–community partnerships and promoting strategies that deepen the university’s impact as an anchor institution. She also served as a Program Manager in the College of Continuing Education, where she led international programming and workforce and leadership development certifications. She began her career at Chico State with the Community Action Volunteers in Education (CAVE) program, collaborating with campus and community partners to design and expand service-learning and community leadership programs.
