Dr. Ruby Sangha-Rico currently serves as the Interim Associate Vice President of Student Success Services at Fresno State. In this role, she provides leadership and oversight to multiple departments, TRIO Student Support Services (General and Veterans), the College Assistance Migrant Program, Career Development Center, Learning Center, Educational Opportunity Program, Renaissance Scholars Program, and the Dream Success Center. She plays a critical role in student advocacy, staff development, strategic planning, assessment, and advancing retention and student success initiatives aligned with the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management’s strategic goals. Previously, Dr. Sangha-Rico served as Director of the Learning Center, leading a centralized hub for academic support services. Her career in higher education spans roles in faculty, advising, and program coordination across diverse functional areas. A collaborative and mission-driven leader, she believes in fostering creative, psychologically safe spaces where teams can address barriers to student success. Outside of work, she finds inspiration in her family life as a proud wife and mother of two daughters.
