Dr. Tashea S. Hilliard is an accomplished higher education leader and faculty member with over 19 years of experience advancing academic excellence in the health sciences. As Chair of the Science Department at West Coast University in Ontario, California, Dr. Hilliard provides strategic leadership that integrates student-centered pedagogy, faculty development, and mission-driven innovation. Her expertise spans curriculum design, assessment oversight, accreditation compliance, and data-informed decision making, all aimed at improving student outcomes and workforce readiness.
Under Dr. Hilliard’s leadership, the Science Department has implemented transformational initiatives including blended and adaptive learning models, innovation lab projects such as Rounds (an immersive episodic case-based learning series), and game-based learning applications that support knowledge retention.
