Dr. Ted Scholz serves as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at The Chicago School. He first joined the institution in 2007 as Manager of Adjunct Faculty and has since held progressive leadership roles. In his current position, he provides oversight of the Institutional Review Board, the National Center for Teaching and Learning, as well as the offices of Program Development, Sponsored Programs, and Accreditation, Licensure, and State Authorization.
Dr. Scholz holds a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, and a master’s degree in Literature from DePaul University. He completed his PhD in Organizational Leadership at The Chicago School and is also a graduate of the Teaching Institute Fellowship Program at Robert Morris University. His professional interests include faculty development and pedagogy, student support, organizational commitment, and academic leadership.
