Through partnership between IBM Corporate Social Responsibility and San José State University’s Career Center, this session presents a mission-driven model that develops student skills in ethical AI through IBM SkillsBuild learning paths, an applied hackathon, and an industry immersion event guided by IBM professionals. The initiative embodies Mission > Action > Impact, moving from learning to doing to real-world experience, while advancing equitable access to workforce-ready, ethically minded AI education.
