Fresno State launched Bulldog Bound in fall 2023 to combat declining first-time freshman enrollment by partnering with nearly 90 Central Valley high schools and serving over 17,000 students. The program offers admissions counseling, career preparation, financial literacy, scholarships, and belonging-building. Admitted students attend LaunchPad, a five-day orientation focused on academic readiness, confidence, and retention. This presentation will examine enrollment outcomes of Bulldog Bound participants and the inaugural LaunchPad program’s impact on student success.
