Dr. Clair Stocks has 20 years of experience in higher education, including in the areas of student affairs, undergraduate and graduate education, distance education, and institutional effectiveness. Clair currently serves as the Director of Accreditation & Assessment and WSCUC Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) at Chapman University, where she oversees institutional and professional accreditation, program review, and assessment. With extensive experience in strategic planning, policy development, and faculty engagement, Clair has played a pivotal role in enhancing assessment processes for greater efficiency and meaning, integrating technology for improved analytics, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Clair has also served as adjunct faculty, teaching courses in college writing, research, and leadership.

An active contributor to the accreditation field, Clair serves as an evaluator for WSCUC and has consulted on accreditation and assessment for multiple institutions. Her work emphasizes the intersection of data-driven decision-making, faculty collaboration, and equity-focused assessment strategies.
